I used to live in the area, so i know the place pretty well. I just wanted to post this, perhaps it could be useful to someone.
If you are trying to save money, or want go the economic way, There is 2 motel 6 locations in Santa Rosa which is only 15 minutes away from the venue. Motel 6 is also one of the *few* motels that allow pets as well.
Here are the locations. They are both on the same street, pretty close to each other, although one location is nicer than the other:

3145 Cleveland Ave--*This is the nicer location, in my opinion

Personally, I will be staying at the first location. They Quoted me $71.00 per night.

    We are staying at the Motel 6 in Rohnert park on Commerce street and it;s a nice motel. Also, has a restaurant (Black Bear Dinner) great food and it's in the same parking lot. We are paying 51.99 per night + tax and 3 dollars for an extra person +tax. So, if anyone is looking check here! There on the corner of Commerce Blvd and Rohnert Parkway. If you are heading north on 101 from San Fransico it is on the right hand side of the freeway. It's only about 15-20min from the festival.
