Thu, October 29, 2009 - 3:34 PMwe are having 13 less teachers this year than last....This had made it hard for us to decide who to have.... we have some new teachers and some returning teachers.... The teachers who are not with us this year will be back in the future and we soooooo love the support and love that they have shown us. It is nothing personal to any teacher who will not be with us at Tribal Fest 10....
We are giving some of the teachers two class and a few teachers are doing multi-day "Mini Intensives" in order to try something new... Some of our teachers are teaching 8 or 10 hours total... Talk about learning the craft!! LOL
There might be some last minute additions and subtractions,,, the final say will be on the web site when it goes "live" around the 10th.... -

I feel we have an amazing line up and will be offering many new and exciting classes. It's always neat to learn tricks of the trade from new teachers...

Fri, October 9, 2009 - 7:25 PMas some noticed we have scaled down from 39 teachers last year, to 26 this year......
The plan is to start the show earlier on Friday, this for one, took out of play 3 rooms for classes - The Main Hall and the two side rooms...
But we are having more longer classes and giving some teachers more than one class. This will be cool because it gives the teachers a chance to build on what they taught or they get to share more than one thing that they do.
Kajira had a really hard time with this idea because it does leave out so many great teachers who have been sooooooooo supportive of us the past 10 years. This does not mean that they will not be back, it just means that this year they can come and have a good time too, and we hope of course that they do.
The past 10 years has been nutty, who knows what the future will hold, if in fact it holds anything.
All we plan on is this year right now.... I have another announcement that I will start a new thread for.... Check it out... -
