Fri, December 7, 2007 - 3:28 PMHi Bobbi, I just thought I'd let you know that Maui has been having atrocious weather the past few days. Most of the island has been without power on and off for the past two days. Chuck is most likely without power right now. But I'm sure he'll answer soon.
I thought I saw a thread about this topic a few months ago but I just looked and didn't see it. -

Fri, December 7, 2007 - 10:22 PMThe teachers will be Kajira (ATS), Sarala (Kajira's Odissi teacher) and Elizabeth Artemis Mourat (Turkish Romani dance and video footage, I believe). The classes will be held in Sarala's home studio, so size will be limited to about 12 participants. This is all from memory, so hopefully it isn't misleading. I won't even try to remember the dates!

Kajira teaching her KD/BSBD Format for ATS BD plus some other surprises!!!
(she may offer teacher training, and that might require extra days here on Maui)
Sarala Dandekar teaching Oddissi Classical Temple Dance of India.
Elizabeth Artemis Mourat teaching Turkish Rromany Dance incluiding 30 years worth of footage from various Rromany cultures.
Plus all the fun stuff that Maui has to offer and there will also be a show on the final Saturday night!!

Teacher Training for Kajira's BSBD/ATS formate will be available for an extra $200.00 you will need to plan two extra additional days for that.
The cost of the week long Maui Intensive is $500.00 which is less than last years, and it is one day longer. 7 days. You will have one day off in the middle to partake in all that Maui has to offer.
All classes will be held in the daytime so your evenings are free to enjoy Maui.
You may start to sign up at anytime and you can e-mail me for any questions you may have.
It will be sold out with 12 - 15 people max. So it will be very intensive and you will get a lot of personal attention.
This will be Kajira's Last Maui Intensive!! -

Wed, December 12, 2007 - 1:51 PMthe one day off in the middle is a fantastic idea! check out some of the waterfalls if you're goin' out for 08. Sara and i had a true "Maui Metro" experiance getting to one of the falls and if you can summon up the balls to do it, jump from the falls- unlike any thing you'll ever do!
