Thanks for an amazing festival to Chuck, Kajira, all the volunteers, performers, vendors ( shore did spend ALOT of money!!), and festival goers.....I am no longer a TF virgin :) !!
I wanted to mention how amazing the Teachers/Instructors were with thier humour, and knowledge.....and so down to earth and approachable....I had an Amazing time and cant wait to come back!
Thank you for making this one of my highlights of 2009.

Everyone I talked to there was so nice and enthusiastic (and I think I talked to just about everyone!) - even in the hottest part of the heat. The teachers were great (just as Jessica said), the performances were fabulous, the vendors' creativity and quality were amazing, and the volunteers and staff of TF and the Community Center were all lovely. I had a great time and am already planning next year's! -

Mon, May 18, 2009 - 11:03 AMKajira and Chuck for a fabulous week! I had such a great time! I took some great workshops and got to reconnect with beautiful friends. I shopped until I couldn't shop anymore - the selection of beautiful items was mind boggling! The performances were out of this world, and I came home completely inspired. I had a great time volunteering as backstage manager on Friday. It was a great way to meet new people (Onca is a complete doll - I adore her!! & ArBee - you are the biggest sweetheart! - I lurve you bunches!) Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make the festival a success. Thank you to all the amazing dancers who shared their vision and art with us. Thank you to the fabulous teachers who shared their knowledge and creativity with us. Thank you to everyone who came out to support Tribal Fest - the happiest place on earth!

Thanks to Chuck and Kajira for making this festival happen year after year!!! And a huge thanks for giving me a spot on the stage, I had a lot of fun performing there for the first time.
I also want to add a huge thanks to Amar for being such an awesome guy and planning some really amazing parties over the weekend. It was an honor to dance to your spinning again and an honor to be in that awesome after-party line-up!!!! You really get such great dancers together!! :) -

Thanks so much to Chuck and Kajira for everything they do - and major kudos to all of the volunteers who help make TF run. And thank to all of my w/s students - you make everything worthwhile. And everyone who stopped by the booth (to shop, to chat, etc). So good to see friends that I now only see once a year b/c we're on the East Coast. *HUGS!* -

Chuck and Kajira you rock my world thanks for all the hard work and big smiles and thanks for letting me dance! I loved seeing all of the friends I've made over the years and all the people that have inspired me. It's amazing how starstruck I still get around some of them!
Can't wait until next year! I already booking my hotel and planning our week long stay!

just got home from driving straight to Canada from Tribal Fest!! Had alot of road time to think about everything and process the week!!
so many things...but a huge huge huge thankyou to Chuck and Kajira and all your volunteers for their hard work. I came and as always leave with a refueled battery of inspiration and gratitude for this dance form and dance community. So awesome to have a chance to catch up with old friends and meet new ones...such a special environment!!

This year was amazing!! So much wonderful dancing! and was great to catch up with friends, and meet some new ones. I get a good dose of everything I love the most about America, when I come to TF and stay in Sebastopol, its so good for my soul just to be there, I Love Tokyo but every once in a while I need a good break from it, and a chance to reenergize.
Unfortunately lovely E-chan brought something less than wonderful back with her to Tokyo, she has the first confirmed case of Swine Flu in Tokyo! yikes!! somehow, Milla is fine though.
hopefully Echan will be well soon.

Fri, May 22, 2009 - 11:23 AMI picked up a nasty cough and was feeling pretty run down. My only symptoms. The doc said it was a virus, but they didn't seem concerned that it was swine flu. The cough has already improved and my energy is returning. Just FYI!

I met so many people thanks to you, saw wonderful dancers too.
The vendors were great but this time I didn't get ruined 'cos I was a bit of aware.
Sharing a room with other dancers was so great too, the community was all over.
... just one regret : I was looking forward to seeing MC Laura again, but she wasn't there. I had such a good time last year listening to her. I hope she's good and that she'll be here next year.
