"Motif" is an event-experience collaboration between myself, Lee Ali, Tim Rayborn, and Karim Nagi - a two hour community hands-on collaboration of ritual, dance, and music - taking place May 15th in Sebastopol. Attendance is very limited and the event is nearing sold out (no tickets will be available at the door). If you're going to be at Tribal Fest on Thursday evening (this takes place at 9pm, after the "Underbelly" presentation), and would like more info on being a part of this event, please post below or message me.

FYI, since a few people have asked - this is open to all levels of dancers - newbies and seasoned alike - Lee Ali and I hatched the concept when discussing that there were few opportunities anymore to really experience live music and communal dancing, especially in terms of the energy involved. At the heart of "Motif" is tribal dance at it's most pure concept - that is, the celebration of community, the art of dance, and the story of music.
