This Weekend Debra Rubin will teach her core fusion workshop in Middletown at the Pack building, Contact Lusha for more details. Workshop will be from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at 21168 Calistoga Rd., Middletown, CA just north of Calistoga. Her is more details.
The Core of Tribal Fusion—3 hr. workshop:
This 3-hour workshop will give a foundation of tribal fusion bellydance. Emphasis will be on technique, musicality, posture, dancing from your core, and embodying the sacred feminine in your dance. And most importantly have a good time dancing with beautiful systren!
There will be a yogic warm up from deb’s special ‘stash’, focusing on core integration, spinal articulation, and building the foundational strength and flexibility to directly support your dancing technique and prevent injuries.
We will spend some time on slow/toxim movements and stylization, getting the ooey-gooey sultry sexy look of intoxicating bellydance, and learning to initiate movements from the core. We will also drill isolations, and popping/locking; and introduce some quintessential up tempo moves (for example, perhaps shimmies, layering, and/or partner passing). And combining it all in teaching some combos and new fusion choreography bits that you can use in your own dancing—either solo or in groups.
Only $35 for 3 hours!
