Taking workshops anytime Wednesday through Friday at Tribal Fest?
Wish you didn't have to leave the Fest for food?...
or *remember* to pack that snack or meal between classes??
Would you rather spend more $$ on dance stuff at TF than on pricey food??
BlackSheep BellyDance is offering a new option for your snacking pleasure...
AND it's cheap too!
Inside the main building we will be holding a snack/meal booth!!
All proceeds benefit the traveling of BlackSheep members.
Traveling where? you might ask...
EVERYWHERE!
This fund will allow MORE Sheep to attend sponsored events that you host!
(as opposed to just 1 or 2...hopefully we will be able to send more!)
As well as funding transportation to *further away* events =)
etc...etc...you get the idea, right?
*****WE NEED YOUR INPUT ON OUR PROPOSED MENU*****
-Chicken salad Croissant Sandwiches
-Vegetarian Chilli
-Pot Stickers
-Small Salad (spring mix + dressing)
-Assorted chips
-Soda (Hansen's natural as well as all the other conventionals)
-Bottled water
-Aussie Bites (whole grain superfood snack, would make great snack or breakfast)
-Muffins (possibly..more likely if lots of people request them)
and we intend on keeping the prices pretty reasonable,
we're dancers too...we know how it is during Tribal Fest =)
(i will post prices asap)
....SO how does that sound?
Would all of you Tribal Fest workshop attendees partake in these snacks?
Comments? Questions? Suggestions?
much <3,
MeganDeath

Thu, May 1, 2008 - 12:40 PMMy man and I just decided that for the salad....
we are making...
*Mango*Strawberry*Jicama*Spring Mix Salad...with poppy seed mango dressing!
---->And I will look into fresh fruit because I agree that it would be a great idea!
SO, apples? bannanas? oranges?
(you know..keep it simple, right?)

Wed, April 30, 2008 - 11:27 PMmmmm sounds yummy....
fresh fruit sounds great (i'm in love w/mangos, coconuts and sugar cane!)

looking forward to seeing more sheep crossing the state lines!

Re: BSBD FUNDRAISER!!! Wed-Fri at TRIBAL FEST!
Thu, May 1, 2008 - 1:59 AMFantastic! This is a brilliant idea.

Re: BSBD FUNDRAISER!!! Wed-Fri at TRIBAL FEST!
Thu, May 1, 2008 - 12:45 PMThe cheapest we would be able to sell the super food/protein shakes for would be...
$3.25/each for 16 oz. (2 servings)
They would be the Trader Joe's:
"Green Protein" (18 grams protein/bottle)
"Protein Pzazz" (38 grams protein/bottle)
Does that sound appealing or too pricey?
I believe if you go to a store and by an Odwalla brand shake, they are about $3.50-3.75.....
AND then you gotta go get it from a store =) -

Re: BSBD FUNDRAISER!!! Wed-Fri at TRIBAL FEST!

Re: BSBD FUNDRAISER!!! Wed-Fri at TRIBAL FEST!
Mon, May 5, 2008 - 10:18 AM...definately veggie! fresh is best, but some energy bars would be great (Larabars are good, clean, fantastic food...or ReBars, fill you full of good stuff quick!) Veggie chili might be dangerous, no? And as much as I don't like to push them, chips might be a good option for quick energy and rehydration (and girls get cranky without chips and chocolate!)
9 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
